My coworkers threw me the nicest baby shower with some delicious food like chicken salad croissants, a cheese ball, cup cakes, etc. The decorations including balloons, diaper cake, sign, table deco,  etc. were all so pretty with a lot of purple in them. I received so many pretty clothes and lots of other baby essential items that the ladies knew that I would need as well as a lot of gift cards. I also received a beautiful hand made quilt, a bath tub, waterproof mattress pad, crib sheet, brag books, and baby toys. I work with a  generous and thoughtful group of people. My Mom and my Sister joined me and they escorted me there because I was out of work during that time because they were worried about me going into pre-term labor due to early dilation. Chad was excited and overwhelmed when I returned home with the delicious food goodies and a car load of baby gifts to unload.

I hope my blog readers have had a chance to go to the baby peeks web site to see our beautiful Zoe. She yawned, smiled, stuck out her tongue and waved at us during the ultrasound. I’m going to try and upload some clips of the ultrasound to my blog–so check back for that later this week.

I am also excited to post my nursery pictures as I know several people have been waiting on these! As of this past weekend, we are finally done with it and we love it!! Click on the smaller thumbnails below to increase picture size.  I also found out today that my Mom has been layed off at work but she has seen this change coming. I am looking forward to her being able to spend time with me and Zoe when I come home from the hospital, which she was going to take off work to help me anyway, but now she will have more time and not have to plan for it. Mom and me are close and I am glad she is able to be with me and help me with my new baby girl, this most precious time in my life as a new mother!

The pregnancy is still going good with 8 weeks to go and I am growing more each week! My baby showers will be here in the next three weeks and the child preparation classes are in full swing. Chad and I are going out to Moses Cone next week for an Infant CPR class.  Time seems to be flying by and Zoe will be here before we know it!!
