The baby has a about 20 more weeks to go and “she” (we hope they were right) is already getting some presents. I think she is excited to be born because she is kicking more and more these days and at this point in my pregnancy I just love feeling her cute little movements.

She already has received about half a dozen outfits into her closet that family and friends have given her. She also received a little pink pocket book and her aunt Sam got her “first doll” and pink blanket that says “Thank Heaven for Little Girls.” If it were up to Sam everything in her room would be done in pink. Needless to say, everyone is excited to welcome this little girl into the family!

Mom is working on making her a beautiful 4 tier diaper cake for the shower that will be used as a centerpiece. Mom is so good at making things like this so I expect it will be so very pretty. It is made of diapers and other items that the baby will need. I can’t wait to see it when it is complete!

We are starting to work on the nursery. We have decided to probably go with neutral colors in her room and decorate with some pink things here and there (and strawberry shortcake). I will post pictures of it later on the blog. I have snapped a few pictures. Click on them to make them larger.
