How to use the LivSig Plugin–>Puts a signature on your blog posts
I am posting these instructions to help my blogging clients utilize a new cool plugin to add a nice looking signature to their posts. Follow these instructions to get to your plugin and create a personalized signature for your post. These instructions will only work after the plugin has been installed.
- Login into your blog and click on your OPTIONS and then click on LiveSig underneath OPTIONS towards the end of the dark blue menu bar.
- When the LiveSig Options page comes up, click on the MyLiveSignature link to create your signature and get your code. This link takes you to www.mylivesignature.com.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the website and click on the PROCEED button under the sentence, “Don’t want to register?”
- When the next page is loaded, click on the CREATE SIGNATURE button at the top of the page.
- When the next page is loaded, click on “Using the signature creation wizard.”
- Enter your name in the text box on the next page as you want it to show up in the blog post. You can enter your first name, first and last, first, middle, last, or only your initials—any way you want it to display on your screen.
- Enter the security code and then click the NEXT STEP button.
- The next page allows you to select the font you want to use. Click on the tabs at the top to view the next page of font choices. The are 12 pages and 120 total font choices to choose from. When you have found the font you want to use, click the radio button beside the font. Then scroll to the bottom of that page and click the NEXT STEP button.
- The next page will allow you to select the size you want to display your signature. Click in the radio button and then click on the NEXT STEP button.
- The next page will allow you to pick the color of choice and then click on the NEXT STEP button.
- The next page will allow you to even pick how much of slant you would like your signature to have. Then once more, click on NEXT STEP.
- On the next page click on “Want to use this signature?”
- On the next page click on “Generate HTML code.”
- On the next page you can either, “Generate a code for my handwritten signature” or “Generate a combined code: my info with the handwritten signature over it.”
- On the next page you can preview your signature. Then click on the code to highlight it and then hold down your CONTROL button on the keyboard and press the C. (Ctrl-C)
- Next, go back and do step 1 again if you aren’t still logged into your blog and press Ctrl-V button to paste the code into the box in your LiveSig Options then click the UPDATE SIGNATURE button.
Note: If you ever want to stop using your signature, just delete the code and press the UPDATE SIGNATURE button.
