How to embed youtube video into WordPress post

Turns out, it is quite easy to embed a youtube video in your blog post. Just copy (CTRL C) the “EMBED CODE” to the right of the youtube video you are interested in embedding in your blog post. Then login to your blog and click on the USERS option and then scroll all the way to the bottom and uncheck the box that says “Use the visual rich editor when writing.” Then click on WRITE and WRITE POST and put a title for your blog post in. Next, paste (CTRL-V) the embed code you copied from youtube.com into the blog post, along with any text you are including in your post. After you have published the post, go back into OPTIONS and recheck the box that says “Use the visual rich editor when writing.”

Hint: If you need to resize your video to fit well inside of your post template, you can adjust the width and height numbers in parenthesis at the end of the embed code that you copied. Play with this to figure out what looks the best. Also note that it may take a minute for your video to load, but it should show up in your post.

Ok, now that we have accomplished that—the next step will be to figure out how to post our own videos into our posts.
